I had an interesting exchange on Twitter this past weekend about Windows Phone, users and apps and this poll is a result of those discussions.
Basically the comment was made that Windows Phone users did not buy the handset for apps. I disagreed and said why else buy the phone if you did not want the apps for it. In fact, for me it is the one thing I was waiting for on this platform. It was pointed out to me that I am a special case when it comes to apps but I still think Windows Phone users do not just use their phone as well – a phone.
That brings me to this survey to collect some info on how many apps Windows Phone users currently have installed on their devices. I appreciate your participation.

I have +30 apps in my phone. I have a lot that are just on stand by that I don’t use that often.
I guess that would be the case for a lot of people, they’ll have lots of apps that dont use on a day to day basis, but are there if they need it for some special reason.
I have a lot installed, but only use about half of them regularly. The others I use, just not very often. I use them enough to not uninstall them, though. There are a couple that get used about once a month, if not two months.
I also have many like that myself and I consider those valid apps. If I realize I am not using them at all they come off the phone.
