Microsoft has updated their master list of software programs that work – and do not work – with IE8. This can be a handy tool if your troubleshooting an issue and want to just verify whether that program can work with IE8.
The Internet Explorer 8 Application Compatibility List for IT Professionals is a Microsoft Office Excel-based spreadsheet listing software applications which are compatible or not compatible with Internet Explorer 8, based on public support statements from software publishers, or statements made to Microsoft from software publishers.
Even though it is labeled for IT professionals anyone can use this as a guide and troubleshooting tool.
