According to the Console Monster website folks in the United Kingdom will get a chance to demo Kinect for Xbox 360 in a similar manner to the tour here in the US.
The tour will run from August to December and currently only appears to have 5 dates listed:
- 1st August – 30th September 2010 @ Alton Towers
- 7th-22nd August 2010 @ London Zoo
- 11th-12th September 2010 @ The Thames Festival in London
- 21st-31st October 2010 @ Chessington World of Adventures
- 2nd-8th December 2010 @ Clothes Show Live in Birmingham (NEC)
They will also set up shop at Convent Garden for the entire period in downtown London where people can apparently go online and book a session to try the Kinect for Xbox 360 out.
If you know Convent Garden then you know there are often street performers – maybe the Kinect setup will draw a crowd as well to watch people move around to interact with a game.
I think that is a great location for something like this.
