I had a surprise waiting for me today in my mail from our Clubhouse Community Manager @MarcusatMSFT. This award is the result of the recently held Clubhouse Choice Awards that marked the one year anniversary of the Microsoft Clubhouse.
I was selected by my peers in the Clubhouse for the Early Adopter Award that was based on a post I did for the clubhouse about the Windows 7 Libraries feature.
Here is the trophy I received today:
The other half of the prize I received was a $100 Amazon gift certificate which went towards my AMD Athlon X2 5400+ (2.8GHZ) processor upgrade for my desktop computer.
That in turn resulted in my wife getting basically a new PC as I chronicled in my COMPAQ Presario SR1300NX Becomes a New Machine posting from this past weekend.
Funny how one post leads to so many different things!
