Observed.Tech PODCAST Episode 199 #OTP
Welcome to Episode 199 of Observed.Tech. It is hard to believe I will be recording the 200th episode of Observed Tech soon. It has been a long journey, which you can read about, but it has been a lot of fun and a terrific learning experience. Thanks for coming along for the ride! In today’s show there is plenty of Windows 10 news as we have seen nine total builds released in the month of June alone (5 for PC and 4 for Mobile). The surprising thing is with only five weeks until the expected release of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update we have seen two major features added in the last two builds (14367 and 14371). I talk about those features at length and what they mean for Windows 10 users down the road. We are also seeing a steady stream of app updates for the Universal Windows Platform on Windows 10 so I share some of the ones which have caught my eye recently. I also talk about the upgraded Intel RealSense DevKit Camera I recently received, the SR300, and how it improves Windows Hello while we continue to wait on the first third party USB Windows Hello cameras. As always, you can expect plenty of other tidbits throughout the episode. Enjoy the show and thanks for listening.
