Observed Tech PODCAST Episode 312 #OTP

This week we have our normal collection of updates for Windows Insiders with the latest builds and progress across a couple of development branches for Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge (Chromium). However, I begin with an explanation of the final state of my link curation process to avoid Twitter’s aggressive algorithms plus I get on my soapbox about headlines and misdirection with one privacy related story I read this week. After that it is our normal weekly run down of updates around apps, services, security, hardware, social media, and gaming. At the end of it all I mention a couple of space items that you should be aware of as the next five years are going to be crazy as NASA heads back to the moon! Observed Tech PODCAST Episode 309 #OTP

This week there was a lot happening in the Microsoft tech world. First, we had the public release of the Microsoft Edge Developer and Canary builds of the company’s new Chromium-based browser on Monday. Stay tuned in from start to finish so you catch everything!

Observed Tech PODCAST Episode 301 #OTP

After all the fun and commentary around Episode 300 last week, we get started with the next 300 shows this week and there is plenty to talk about. There are big changes happening in the Windows Insiders program as it relates to changes in Microsoft’s approach to developing updates for Windows 10. I dive into the details and offer my observations on where things might be going over the next several months. Of course, we have plenty of other news throughout the show such as the Samsung OneNote UI and Android 9 Pie arriving on T-Mobile’s Galaxy S9/S9+, Amazon acquiring eero who builds a very popular Wi-Fi wire mesh system, and Chrome OS might be getting virtual desktops soon. As always enjoy the show and thanks again for listening!
