In the absence of my Twitter account and the possibility that the simple automated sharing of various tech links is triggering Twitter’s algorithms and suspending my account, I have developed a new options for sharing links using Tumblr.
This week I am back in the home studio after spending a week in Redmond at the Microsoft campus for the annual MVP Summit. As always, it was a great week with lots of content, friends and learning. It was also a very busy week for Windows Insiders for build releases and progression in the final development stages for the next feature update for Windows 10. We get caught up on all of those details and then talk about plenty of other tech news from this past week. Be sure to listen from start to finish to catch everything!
This is it – we have reached the end of 2018. A total of 40 episodes and nearly 23,000 listens along the way and this is our final episode of the year. We will be back in two weeks to kick of 2019 with Episode 295. Thanks for being part of this community and coming along for the journey. In this show we wrap up things by talking about the latest for Windows Insiders plus the big tech headlines across social media, gaming, hardware, and a little space as well.
This week I begin with some tech troubles as I hit the 10 device limit while setting up a new device for my stable of test machines. I also share the news that this podcast is now listed at iHeartRadio so listeners can get access through that platform. This has been a regular request over the last couple of months so glad to deliver that capability to listeners! We then discuss all the new Windows Insider builds and where we stand with Slow Ring, Fast Ring and Skip Ahead development. We also reiterate that we are not at final release yet – getting close for sure – but we are not there yet. Next up is Microsoft’s recently announced hardware event in New York City at the beginning of October plus we have app updates galore to share details about. Of course, there are headlines throughout the show so be sure to listen all the way until the end. As always enjoy the show and thanks again for listening!
