Welcome to the Twitterless episode of the show. Yeah, it has happened again and I explain what I think caused this one and some changes I have planned when (if) the account is restored. Of course there was news around Windows Insider builds and solid indications that we are indeed in the final stages of 19H1’s development so we also get caught up on all of that and the tech news of the week from across all of the normal resources.
Read MoreIt was another busy week for Windows Insiders as we had a total of five builds for Windows 10 (19H1 and 20H1) see their way to Windows Insiders test machines. The end is closing in quickly for the upcoming April 2019 Update and we will discuss all of those build related activities. I share a little about my quick trip to Cape Canaveral to see SpaceX’s launch Crew Dragon, the first crew rated vehicle since Shuttle in 2011, plus I update you on the suspended Twitter account for counting down to Windows 7 end of life cycle support, the remaining days for Microsoft Band and associated services and finally last month’s AdDuplex numbers for Windows 10. Of course, we also have HoloLens 2 news from MWC and all kinds of other items throughout the show.

In this show I talk about the upcoming three year anniversary of the release of Windows 10 and the journey to where we stand today with the operating system. There have certainly been both successes and hiccups along the way so I will cover the various milestones we have seen. I will also talk about the beginning of the Windows Insider Program, the five feature updates we have seen so far and then I share some ideas I have that could help with the testing of future feature updates. Stability has been a challenge over the last few feature updates and a slight shift in the testing approach might help remedy some of those issues. Suffice it to say that this is a jam packed show so listen all the way to the end.
