Welcome to Episode 265 of Observed Tech.

This is our Pre-BUILD 2018 and Post Windows 10 April 2018 Update Release episode of the podcast. It is also a Saturday recording day because tomorrow morning, our normal recording day, I will be on an airplane heading towards Seattle to cover BUILD 2018 for my day job.

So this show is all about the details surrounding this past week’s release of the fifth feature update for Windows 10. We have known it by the code name Redstone 4 for about nine months now. Now under its moniker of Windows 10 April 2018 Update, it is beginning to be installed on systems all around the world and it begins an automatic rollout this coming week. Their have been a couple of hitches in this first week of availability so we will discuss what has been seen so far.

Of course, testing is already in progress on its successor, Redstone 5, so we will also catch up on the latest with those testing builds.

I will wrap up the show with some discussion about BUILD 2018 and what we are expecting to see out there during the coming week.

As always enjoy the show and thanks again for listening!
