Titanfall gamers who also happen to be on the Windows Phone 8 platform get their Titanfall right alongside their fellow gamers on other mobile platforms.

We learned recently that Titanfall was the top selling game in the month of April and gamers obviously enjoy the game. What better way to stay connected to the gaming environment than an app you can have on your mobile device.

Electronic Arts has released the Titanfall Companion App across all three major mobile platforms at the same time (Windows Phone 8, iOS, and Android) and not only does the app give you stats about your Titanfall adventures but it also has  a second screen element.

With the second-screen map feature, you have at your fingertips a full screen, real-time interactive mini-map of the game you’re playing. See and track your teammates and where the action is happening live and with the ability to zoom in and out to focus on key areas of the map.  Use a filter feature to access additional map information that cannot be accessed anywhere else, giving you an advantage in game.  View the live scoreboard that updates in real-time as the game progresses.

Titanfall Companion App is available in the Windows Phone Store for Windows Phone 8/8.1 devices and is a massive, in mobile terms, 711MB download.

Note: This app is also available for Windows desktop users – Titanfall™ Companion App on Windows 8.1.

Images below are from the Windows Phone version of the app.

As soon as you start up the app there is a prompt to download 15MB of new and updated assets for the app.

Once you are in the app you can sign in with your Xbox Live ID (Microsoft Account) to access your own personal stats.

No log in is needed to review the assets data in the app.
