Each day I browse over to the Nokia Software Update Support Page for the Nokia Lumia Black update in North America hoping to see some movement on the update for my Nokia Lumia 920.
Until today that visit has been disappointing since the Nokia Lumia Black update roll out was announced on the 9th of January by Nokia.
The slow pace of these roll outs should be no surprise as it is the standard based on what we saw with the Nokia Lumia Amber update last year.
However, Nokia Lumia 820 and 920 users in North America on AT&T have reason to be optimistic because the status on these two devices have been updated to show they are coming soon.
According to the status page this means the update has been approved and is in final pre-release checks.
If we get this update soon that would be a vast improvement over the eight weeks it took to get the Amber update on the Nokia Lumia 920 last year.
