In the early days of the Windows Store in Windows 8 I used to make sure I searched on the web for apps by adding the term apps and microsoft to my search terms because those two terms appear in the web address of any Windows Store app.
It was the only way to track down a link to easily share in a blog post at the time.
Well today it seems Microsoft has made it much easier to find the apps you are looking for via a new web search interface:
As you might imagine you just click on the link to the app you want to check out and you will be taken to its full web entry and from there you can open its listing in the Windows Store if you are on Windows 8 with a single click.
You can access this search portal at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/search#q=&s=Store
