Today Microsoft released five updates for the Windows 8.1 Preview with one listed as Important and the other four as Recommended.
However, I would place one of those recommended updates as critical myself because it attempts to fix the touch scrolling bug.
Here are the updates you will find in Windows Update today for the Windows 8.1 Preview:
- Update improves file search experience on SkyDrive in Windows 8.1 Preview
- ListView does not scroll smoothly in Windows 8.1 Preview
- Repeatedly offered update for a nonpresent device in Windows 8.1 Preview or Windows RT 8.1 Preview
- Single sign-on (SSO) does not work for VPN connections that use certificate authentication in Windows 8.1 Preview
- Compatibility update for Windows RT 8.1 Preview and Windows 8.1 Preview: June 2013
After applying the updates I tried the official Twitter App to test the scroll bug and although it is smoother now – it is still a bit bumpy when trying to scroll quickly.
