I was just doing some scanning of my Twitter timeline to find a tweet from yesterday and noticed that tweets I sent out now have thumbnails of the graphics I included in the tweet.
You can also see thumbnails in tweets from other users in your timeline not just your own tweets.
When I asked if anyone else on Twitter was seeing this I received responses indicating they did not have this feature yet which leads me to believe this is a new experiment.
I think it is a nice visual reference to a tweet containing an image.
