If you are a college basketball fan you know we are about to enter a period of time that is referred to as March Madness. This is the time of year that the top college and university basketball teams enter the NCAA Tournament to compete for the national championship. It is a single elimination tournament which means lose and you are done – win and you move on to the next level.
Many offices around the country put together their own competition to predict who the winners will be and see who comes out on top in their prognostications and the entire tourney is tracked in what is called a bracket.
Well if you just happen to not be a fan of college hoops then our friends over at SolarWinds has an alternative that will make science fiction fans happy.

The premise for this competition is just like that of the NCAA Basketball tourney except you are picking your favorite science fiction character instead of a basketball team.
They have even made a downloadable PDF file of the above bracket available so you can have your own office pool to try and predict who will win at each level.
