Another sign that the Windows Phone platform is continuing to grow is its continued expansion into more countries world wide.

According to an announcement earlier today from Todd Brix on the Windows Phone Developer Blog the new locales are Argentina, Indonesia, Malaysia, Peru, and the Philippines.  This expansion means that developers in those nations will soon be able to start developing Windows Phone apps and get them submitted and certified for inclusion in the marketplace.

Todd also reminds everyone with existing apps already in the marketplace that if you want to expand your apps to these five new areas you must log into the App Hub and either add them individually or select worldwide.

This brings the total number of markets that can access the Windows Phone Marketplace to 41.
