I have blogged many times about the dynamic RSS themes that you can use in Windows 7 to provide yourself a carousel of fresh pictures for your desktop. I have also created a lot of my very own themes for Windows using the built in capabilities of Windows 7 and shared them here with you all.
This is the first time I have attempted to create a dynamic theme that uses an RSS feed to update itself with new pictures and the process takes a little more than just creating a theme on your desktop and then saving the Theme Pack file to share with family, friends or the Internet!
So thanks to the Internet and a search engine I was able to track down the additional steps necessary to make a theme dynamic and to create my first dynamic theme for my wife’s garden photos. This will allow me to update her desktop theme at anytime with new photos without every having to access her PC/laptop.
First let’s highlight the theme itself Margo’s Garden Dynamic RSS Windows 7 Theme which contains 17 initial photos from her awesome garden.
