As we posted late last night Angry Birds was released to the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace. We mentioned Xbox Live’s Major Nelson’s tweets about it but just a couple of hours later another key person tweeted about Angry Bird’s release and a juicy surprise for today.

Big day for Windows Phone: Angry Birds, Epicurious, Eventful, Dictionary.com, Kik, GoWalla. And a juicy surprise for tomorrow…
Now speculation over the last few weeks indicated that Windows Phone 7 developers would be able to get the Mango, aka Windows Phone Version 7.5, updates through their developer accounts. This was being done to allow the devs to begin working on apps that would take advantage of the 7.5 upgrades and new features.
After a supposed delay that occurred last week for this dev release of Mango it seems, based on Bill Cox’s tweet late last night, we may just see that ROM update today. The connection? Well Bill Cox is the Senior Director of Communications at Microsoft for the Windows Phone Division and mango’s are a very juicy fruit.
Plus Angry Birds is out now on the Windows Phone 7 so what else is there to come out as a surprise?
Got any ideas on what might be happening or do you think we could be on the right track?
