If you own a Windows Phone 7 or thinking about owning one and you want to know the latest applications that are available, there is some good news. This link from Bing Visual Search displays the available Windows Phone 7 apps that you can download. It shows you the top free to the top paid apps with a simple click. You can search by category, price, or publisher and can also list apps by most downloaded to most recently added. When you click on a thumbnail, you get detailed information about the application, including multiple screenshots and users’ ratings. There are currently over 3,000 applications featured in this tool that are available for Windows Phone 7. I say this is a superb marketing tool offered by Microsoft.
The Bing visual search solution provides a nice way to browse through the apps that are available and see which are the most popular and most downloaded apps. (via Social Times)
One Windows Phone 7 app that would be very useful for an avid online shopper is the Amazon Shopping Application. You can quickly search, shop, compare prices, read reviews, and make purchases on Amazon.com by the use of this free app. And if you have an account with Amazon, you also have full access to your cart, wish lists, order history, payment and shipping options, along with other information associated with your account. Plus any purchases that you make through the mobile application are routed through Amazon’s secure servers. Seems like a quick and easy way to shop online.
Another application that I find to be useful is the Netflix application for Windows Phone 7. By downloading this free app, you have instant access to your Netflix account, plus you get to watch streaming TV shows and movies. You can resume watching where you left off on your TV or computer and also watch your programming as often as you’d like. Those features alone would make me want this application on my Windows Phone 7.
Thanks to Bing’s Visual Search, you can now have instant accessibility to thousands of different free and premium Windows Phone 7 applications that are on the market. There’s a lot to search out there, and Bing made it easier for you to find.
