Ina Fried just posted over at the All Things Digital Mobilized page that Brad Brooks, a Vice President in the Windows Division at Microsoft, is leaving the company on 04 Feb 2011 to join Juniper Networks. Mary Jo Foley has also written about this at the All About Microsoft Blog at ZDNet.

The move reunites Brooks with Juniper CEO Kevin Johnson, who had been president of the Windows and Windows Live unit at Microsoft before also jumping to Juniper

Head over to Ina’s post to read the entire memo that he sent to the Windows Division about what they have accomplished and his transition.  Mary Jo has some additional background on the move as well.

There seems to be quite a few of these departures happening in recent months.  I wonder what that will mean for the Windows team and the company as a whole as they get ready to ramp up work on the next version of Windows?
