This is a great history of the WordPress blogging platform. There are a couple of stats that just blow me away though:
- 57% of websites are still on version 2. Security can be an issue for that version and your missing the security updates that came along with version 3. You all need to get upgraded!
- There have been 23.2 million downloads of version 3 since it was released back in June of this year. Just wow!
