Today’s featured Windows Sidebar Gadget from the Windows 7 Personalization Gallery is called Computer Status (over 328K downloads). Its mission is to provide you at a glance information about your computer. Oh yeah, it also plays the radio!
All of the radio stations appear to be from the UK but there is a good collection of genres available in the options. Each of the icons next to the status information are clickable and will take you to the applicable parts of your OS:
- CPU – Reliability and Performance Monitor
- RAM – Windows Task Manager
- Hard Drives and CD/DVD Drives – Windows Explorer with that directory as the root
- Recycle Bin – Recycle Bin
