Amazon.com has announced that they are publishing a new beta e-book reading tool that works right in your web browser – it is of course called Kindle for the Web.
This has been integrated into book pages on Amazon.com where there is a Kindle version of a book available. You simply click on a link in the sidebar and read the first chapter of a book for free using Kindle for the Web.
There are links to expand the reader to full screen and to also adjust the size and colors in the web based Kindle reader. Of course any product you purchase through this interface will also be available to you on your Kindle and other devices that you access your Kindle books from.

So will this help you decide to move to electronic book reading sooner than you might have been thinking?
