Amongst the TV’s, refrigerators, and washer/dryer sets Samsung also announced two new Windows 8 devices yesterday during their press day at CES 2013.

Series 7 Chronos Refreshed – this notebook carries a 2.4GHZ Intel quad core processor, up to 16GB of memory, up to 1TB of storage and 2Gb of dedicated graphics into a form factor that is just .82” thick. It contains a revamped AMD Radeon HD 8870MGPU which has what they call RAMaccelerator technology that increases speeds by 150% for running apps and browsing. The 15.6 inch full HD screen also features 10 point multitouch. They say the battery will last you up to 11 hours on this and it comes with a full compliment of ports to include USB 3.0/2.0, HDMI and VGA.

Series 7 Ultra – this device has an aluminum body, full 13.3 inch HD display with 10 finger multitouch, AMD HD8570M with 1GB of memory, up to 16GB of RAM, up to a 256GB SSD, runs on an Intel Core i7 or i5 processor and will give you up to 8 hours of battery life. This one also comes with a good amount of ports including 1 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0, mini VGA and HDMI.
