Surface PM Confirms that all Touch and Type Covers Work on Microsoft Surface Pro Tablet

There is plenty of dialog going on about the release yesterday of the pricing and availability of the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro tablet from Microsoft. This is the version of the Surface hardware that is compatible with all of your legacy software and has been highly anticipated.
Although folks are not thrilled about the expected battery life of the device there is at least one area you can save some of your hard earned cash on and that is the Touch and Type covers.

As you can see above, Panos Panay the Surface Program Manager at Microsoft, confirms that the keyboards work on both versions of Surface.
