Here are this weeks latest additions to several of the Dynamic RSS Themes for Microsoft Windows from the Windows Personalization Gallery. These themes can be installed on Windows 7 and Windows 8.
The Flora theme picks up the most new backgrounds this week with eight of them being added.
It has been a while since I checked to see the total number of images in each of the dynamic themes offered by Microsoft so I decided to pull those numbers and share them here.
Here is how they stack up as of today:
- Aqua – 62
- Fauna – 33
- Insects – 55
- Terra (Landscapes) – 87
- Flora (Flowers) – 159
- Bing Maps Aerial Imagery (US) – 184
- Bing Maps Aerial Images of Europe – 163
- Bing Desktop – 177
That is a total of 920 images across these eight themes. That is a very impressive collection of work from not only professional photographers but also enthusiasts who submitted their photos for Microsoft’s Open Image Call.
