Microsoft has just made the Windows 8 Consumer Preview downloads available for everyone.

There are both 64 bit (3.3 GB ISO) and 32 bit (2.5 GB ISO) available in English, Chinese, French, German and Japanese and product keys are available directly on the download page and is the same one for all editions of the preview.

Microsoft is also offering a different download option to the ISO download.  If you want to install the consumer preview on another partition, another PC or a virtual machine they recommend using their Windows 8 Consumer Preview Setup (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/download) and it looks like this has built in ability to put the file on a DVD or a bootable flash drive without needing to use the USB tool everyone uses for the Windows 7 ISO. It also appears you can pause this download if necessary:

So fire up those Internet connections and get this thing downloaded – have fun!
