NBC Will Live Video Stream The Superbowl 2012

NBC has just announced that this years NFL Superbowl will be live video streamed for the first time. In addition the broadcasts of wild card Saturday and the the Pro Bowl will be available on the NFL Network website and through Verizon’s NFL Mobile app which will include additional camera angles, in-game highlights and live stats.
The Super Bowl is Feb. 5 in Indianapolis. The Superbowl has the biggest viewership on television. Last season’s Packers-Steelers matchup had over 111 million viewers.
While not announced, it will be interesting to see if the NFL will bring in Facebook and Twitter and make for a great social media experience like so many other big events have taken advantage of.
