Why Is Everyone Writing About Google and their Unique Doodle Today?

As I am digging through my daily RSS feed review I am really amazed at how much coverage the Google weird Doodle is getting today.

I mean even all of these main stream news sites have covered it today:

On top of all those sites you have the tech blogs and others that are also posting about this – all for a group of moving color balls.  Amazing.

Oh yeah – don’t forget Twitter – it is currently trending under two topics:

By the way – curious what the Balls In Motion really stand for?  I think it is a social experiment in how to get absolutely free advertising and buzz (sorry Google – no pun intended) for something you have done – this one is an absolute success.

What do you think it is all about?

P.S. Ooops, I guess I added to the mayhem with this post didn’t I!
