I when i do the registration it gives me nothing, when i open word up it tells me ” the set up controller has encounterd a problem during install. Please review the log files for further information on the error. i dont understand and i really need microsoft word for my online classes. PLEASE HELP

That usually indicates a corrupted download or remnants of the beta are still on your system and causing a conflict with the new install. This thread has some ideas in it that may help:

when i go to download it, the installing your programs comes up and then this comes up : A field required to setup Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010 is corrupted . Try set up again … What am i suppose to do ?

when i try to download it , the thing that says its checking your pc come up , then right away an error comes up saying that i dont have a file needed to open it and that the file is corrupt ? why cant i download it ?!

It seems that there is NO option of this kind, I tried with a download manager of my own, well when reached a certain number, it hangs and will not proceed further even with pause and restart many times. !

When trying to download any of the microsoft office free trial version….. I get started and then the download hang at 67.6 meg done …..other time at 233 meg done and will not complete itself ! why ? I am running windows 7, my computador is running norton antivirus I did desactivated norton and firewall but same results ! I tried to download with Firefox but the same !….

If I understand your asking about downloading an Office 2007 Trial and I do not believe it is available any more since Office 2010 is out.
