If you would like to try out some of the software offerings from Microsoft without having to make a purchase first then you need to check out the TechNet Evaluation Center.
The process is straight forward to grab a software product and give it a shot:
- Select a product
- Review system requirements
- Register for evaluation
- Download and install software
- Receive emails to access expert resources
- Use blogs & forums to share tips
They have both pre-release and released versions of the software to try out ranging from Windows OS’s, Microsoft Office, Server Products and security software.
Their top 5 downloads are:
- Office Professional Plus 2010 Beta
- Windows 7 Enterprise
- Project Professional 2010 Beta
- Windows Server 2008 R2
- Visio Premium 2010 Beta
There is a short registration process to gain access to the bits and you can opt out of the mailings.
