If you would like to try out some of the software offerings from Microsoft without having to make a purchase first then you need to check out the TechNet Evaluation Center.

The process is straight forward to grab a software product and give it a shot:

  • Select a product
  • Review system requirements
  • Register for evaluation
  • Download and install software
  • Receive emails to access expert resources
  • Use blogs & forums to share tips

They have both pre-release and released versions of the software to try out ranging from Windows OS’s, Microsoft Office, Server Products and security software.
