I am a senior & know very little about computor work, unfortunatley I deleted files that I shouldn't have & now my system is running slower than it was before I performed the tasks you outlined. I got this computor w/windows 7 5 months ago,Xmas. hpw1858 slimline. I shut the programs & have only windows Live Explorer on, I ran Disk defragament & shutdown & rebooted it, it is still slow. all this happened by deleting files I shoudn't have & don't know how to get them back.
