Windows Live Solution Center Active

windowslivesolutioncenter

In what I believe is another step towards the release of Windows Live Wave 4, Microsoft has consolidated all of their Windows Live product support under one website – The Windows Live Solution Center.

Welcome to the Windows Live™ Solution Center, a Community for Windows Live™ products and services where you can find Microsoft Certified Solutions, post your own questions in our forums, or help others by providing your answers. We look forward to hearing from you. Get started by selecting a product below.

This is an extensive website with support across the entire spectrum of Windows Live products and services:

There are forums that allow for mutual support between users as well as links to any solutions that are already available for that product or service.

This is really one stop shopping – head into the solutions first to see if your issue has already been identified and fixed and if it has not then head into the user forum and ask other users of the product or service for their help.

Thank you for responding. After trying everything I can think of still cannot get past create profile page. Please, help me.

Please someone help me. I have tried for four days, non stop, now to reply to a thread in the Windows Live Solution Center. I started the initial thread and now want to respond to an answer given. When I try to reply, I am told that I am not signed in. When I sign in I am taken to a page to Create a profile, no other options. When I fill in the page I am told that that email adress is already on their records try another one. I have a few profiles and email addresses, but no matter what I put into this page, I am told the same thing. I have even tried creating a new profile, but I still cannot reply or post a question. I am able to view threads, but I cannot interact in any way. Please help me. This driving me mad. To try and get any help I just get the “How to use the Windows Live Solution Center” and when I follow the instructions just end up on the Create Profile page which simply never works and anyway, I already have a profile. What the hell is going on? Am I the only person on this planet experiencing this problem?

    • Robbie,

Any chance you use more than one Live ID or Hotmail account? I do and at times I think I am signed in with the right one and am not because I can not access info under that account from the other.

      Just an idea to check.

    • Sudhir,

Can you use System Restore to go back to a point when they were not messed up? That would be the first step I recommend.

      • Sudhir Khaira

sir,the restore points are also missing.
everyday automatically 2 to5 restore points are created..
        unable..please give a suggestion

  • I agree. First thing I thought when I saw it! It’s a good move anyway as it was mostly Hotmail that was getting Questions and Answers about before, plus most of the other apps and the site weren’t covered.
Besides, now with the Windows Live Essentials almost becoming a must have for Windows 7, more users will need help.
