You can get to the properties even quicker, just hold down shift while you right click the icon, and you’ll get the standard context menu.

Thanks for the tip on this; exactly what I was looking for as I use Outlook 2010 for mail.

BTW You can get to properties from the Taskbar.

In the “Windows Live Mail Right Click Jumplist”, right click _again_ on “Windows Live Mail” and presto there is the “Properties”!!!
