Test Live Blog Plug In Post

9:19:20 PM: Test entry for new live blog post.

9:20:57 PM: As the tweets go out they get picked up by the Twitter Liveblogging plugin and inserted into the post on my site.

9:21:23 PM: Live Blog Test Post http://bit.ly/ifXcL

9:23:57 PM: Mentions (@ replies) do not get picked up by the live blogging software – that allows you to reply to others without adding to live blog.

9:25:42 PM: I think this plug in will work quite well. It is available at http://bit.ly/OoFfR

9:26:41 PM: Hmm not sure why that one got picked up twice. Is it because the @ sign appeared in the middle of the Tweet?

9:27:23 PM: I am actually testing this in preparation for live blogging the Windows 7 Launch event in New York City on 22 Oct.

9:27:36 PM: RT @KevinLittleton: I think Windows 7 on a netbook is just plain awesome, a performance hit vs. XP? Who cares. http://ow.ly/15RXHO

9:27:53 PM: Just did a RT to see if it gets picke dup as well in the live blog or ignored.

9:28:47 PM: It appears RT’s will get posted and the @ sign did not cause a double posting. Will have to watch that.

9:29:43 PM: OK enough testing – it seems to work well. Now to end it I have to send a tweet that tells the live blogging plugin we are done.
