It would appear that Twitter is not only tweaking the user interface of its web service but it is also working on the appearance of the email notifications we receive when someone starts following us.
Check out these two examples that arrived in my inbox just 12 minutes apart:

Personally I like the HTML version as it gives me much more user info at a glance than the plain text email. Which do you like?
