Windows 7 Critical Updates

win7logo

So once you get the chance to download that coveted ISO of Windows 7 Beta 1 – what should be your first step?

Well if you have MP3’s and you have heard about the problem with Windows Media Player 12 eating the first few seconds of an MP3 file then you want to grab the update below for your system (x86 or x64) and install it.

If your doing an upgrade install of Windows 7 then make sure you back up your MP3’s to be safe and then restore them after the update is installed.

Install this update to resolve live and recorded TV issues in Windows Media Center, recorded TV playback issues in Windows Media Player, and MP3 file corruption issues in Windows. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer. This update is provided to you and licensed under the Windows 7 Pre-Release License Terms.
