New Windows Live Writer Plugins

Quick on the heels of the updated Windows Live Essentials software suite comes three very nifty plugins for my favorite blogging software (and yours as well I hope):

Digg This

wlwdiggplugin

Add a DiggThis badge to let visitors Digg your post. Choose your desired style and alignment in the options menu.

Twitter Notify

wlwtwitterplugin

Send a Tweet announcing your newly published blog post. A shortened link to your post is automatically generated through the TinyURL service. Customize your default message in the options menu.

I am so glad this plug in is out – ever since my Twitter WordPress plugin stopped working I have been tweeting my updates manually – well not any more!

Flickr Upload

wlwflickrplugin

Insert an inline image into your post that gets uploaded to your Flickr account. Visitors who click on the inline image get taken to your Flickr photostream.
