How Much Money in the Jar Contest!

I have a little fun competition for the blog readers this week.  At stake is a copy of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.

etqw

The contest is simple and all it takes is leaving a comment on this post.  You must be registered on this site though with a valid email address on your account so I can reach you when this is over.

The background – for the last couple of years my wife and I have been dropping our spare change into a large glass jar that used to contain Nutella (nice hazelnut chocolate spread by the way) and it is now full.  We plan on turning it into paper bills to take with us on a small weekend cruise.

Here are some pictures of the jar of coins (all US stuff – no silver dollars – but there is everything else from quarters to pennies).  The jar weighs in at 21 lbs.

ShotOne  ShotTwo

ShotThree  ShotFour

The winner will be the individual who is closest without going over the total amount in the jar.  All submissions (comments) must be entered by 22 Aug 2008.  I will scan in the tally when I get the money counted at the money machine and post it along with the winners name when the contest closes.

The contest is open to everyone in the US as I will be shipping the prize via United States Post Office (First Class Mail).

Good Luck!
